Dental Bridges
Benefits of Dental Bridges
Improved Oral Health
Left untreated, tooth loss can lead to shifting and bite problems. Bridges restore oral health and reduce the risk of future problems.
Better Function
Chewing is difficult for individuals who are missing one or more teeth. A bridge reestablishes proper function so you can eat with comfort.
Enhanced Aesthetics
The advanced dental materials used to create bridges are incredibly lifelike and mimic natural enamel so that your results blend in with your smile.

Types of Dental Bridges
Traditional
Traditional bridges consist of two crowns and pontics (artificial teeth). The natural teeth on either side of the gap are altered so they can support the dental bridge. When in place, bridges fill in the space left behind by your tooth to complete your smile. Bridges can be crafted from a variety of materials, including metal and ceramic.
Dental Implant-Supported
Patients who do not want to alter or remove any natural tooth structure may want to consider an implant bridge. Instead of being bonded to natural teeth, the pontic is attached to dental implants, which are small titanium posts inserted into the jaw during an oral surgery appointment.
